CASE: KidWind Challenge!

James Madison University (JMU) is hosting a KidWind challenge this year. See rules below:

The KidWind Challenge is a well-rounded competition with technical aspects and a thorough judging portion. In addition, they also test the students on their general knowledge of wind and solar energy to ensure they understand the context within which we discuss these technologies. The knowledge quiz is a 15 point multiple-choice quiz that the team takes collaboratively on the day of the competition. Questions will cover some technical aspects of the technology, with general questions about energy use and generation, as well as some statistics about states or countries that generate the most electricity from wind or solar. There will also be some Virginia-specific questions such as how much of our electricity in Virginia comes from wind energy.

If you are interested in participating check out the JMU website here.
